Frida had a gift for turning everyday materials into something celebratory — folk art colours, hand-painted frames, flowers and ribbons crowding around a single portrait until the border became as alive as the face inside it. This necklace channels that same instinct: a deliberate clash of warm reds, golden yellows, deep indigo, and clean white, each bead distinct but belonging to one joyful whole.
There’s no careful gradient here, no single dominant tone — just colour stacked against colour the way folk artists have always done, trusting that boldness and balance aren’t opposites.
